BrainWare Safari

BrainWare Safari is a revolutionary software program that builds intellectual capacity by incorporating neuroscience with video-game technology to strengthen foundational cognitive skills, including attention, memory, visual and auditory processing, sensory integration, and thinking.

It develops the skills critical for learning, and provides the Student with a stronger foundation for academic and workplace success. Students who have completed the PACE Program can benefit from BrainWare Safari.

Cognitive-Behavioral Attention (C-BAT)

Play Attention

Special games are used that work off brain power. This system uses a sensor lined helmet attached to a module which plugs into a Personal Computer (PC). It monitors brain waves associated with attention and processing. The program requires 40 to 60 hours of training.

Below is an overview of other SERC Testing Programs and Services:

Psychological, Educational, Cognitive, LD, AD/HD, and Gifted Evaluations are available via affiliated licensed School and PhD Psychologists. These professionals are familiar with area schools as well as the applicable local and state regulations. Testing for Dyslexia is provided by a PhD Reading Specialist on Staff.

FastForWord

Fast ForWord is a technology-based language training founded on the principles of optimal learning.

FastForWord is comprised of computer exercises that work to improve critical language skills necessary to read or become more efficient readers.

Intensive 4 to 8 week training changes the way the brain processes information. Scientifically validated data by independent research studies reveal an average of one to two year improvement in language skills.

Study Skills

Study Skills Classes are available for 5th thru 12th Grade. Students are tested to determine their learning style. The results of these tests offer hints on how the student learns most efficiently and effectively. When the evaluation confirms that the student is an auditory learner, a visual learner or a combination of both then an appropriate program is designed. The program then teaches the student how to study for optimal results.

Home Schooling

Parents are given materials and options available for home schooling. There are scheduled meetings throughout the school year involving the parents and student for the purpose of evaluating and monitoring the progress of the home school student. Year end evaluations are provided for the student.
